Dr. Monica Li is a double board-certified cosmetic and medical dermatologist in both Canada and the United States, and a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Dermatology & Skin Science at the University of British Columbia. She practices in Vancouver and Surrey, B.C. Dr. Li is fellowship trained in laser and cosmetic dermatology and has a practice focus and research interest in ethnic skin, acne, rosacea, injectables and laser medicine. She is an active committee member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Women's Dermatologic Society. Dr. Li has published more 17 peer-reviewed articles, and has been an invited lecturer at various international conferences including the World Congress of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery annual meeting and American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting. She is a regular voice to local and national media.
Dr. Eric Wong is a double board-certified Dermatologist with accreditation in both Canada and the United States. He is the Cosmetic Medical Director at RejuvaDERM and leads the clinic with world class knowledge in cosmetic training in Dermatology obtained across Canada and North America. Dr. E. Wong is the author of many publications and book chapters in the field of Dermatology, including “Dermatologic Reactions to Cancer Therapies: Chemotherapeutic-Induced Nail Reactions”, where he has worked with world renowned Dermatologists. Currently, Dr. E. Wong practices cosmetic and medical Dermatology in both Edmonton, AB and Grande Prairie, AB.
Justine Martinson, the Founder and CEO of Lipstick Empire LaserSpa is a multi-faceted entrepreneur. Justine has been a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician for over 15 years and an Entrepreneur for over 12 years. She opened her first Spa in Edmonton in 2011 when she was 23 years old. Justine then went on to pursue a career in Dermatology working for the President of Dermatology in Canada. Her vast knowledge of the industry has made her a leader and a top advisor in the Medical Aesthetics world. Justine started Lipstick Empire in 2013 as a Cosmetic Consulting Company and then decided to open a brick and mortar store in the heart of downtown Edmonton. In December of 2015, Justine launched a full service medical spa called Lipstick Empire LaserSpa. After nearly 4 years of running her own business, she decided to expand on her interests in marketing and social media to create Virago and Lace, a Digital Marketing and Business Mentorship Agency. She combined her passion of business, marketing and mentorship to help others become successful by teaching them the marketing tools and strategies they need to thrive in their business.
Hady Hamade, also referred to as The Laserologist, is a highly experienced Cosmetic Laser Specialist with over 8 years experience in Laser Skin Solutions and 6 years of experience with the Nordlys system. Previously, Hady was the director and leading practitioner of the Laser Dermatology department at Jay clinics, a polyclinic that mainly specializes in Hair Restoration surgery, Aesthetic Medicine, and Laser Dermatology. He is currently the director of a well reputable clinic in Ontario, Canada, known as The Laserologist INC. The Laserologist has attended several international conferences and training seminars, including EADV, IMCAS, and Arab Health. Hady has obtained a Laser Diploma with Honors at the International Beauty Institute. The Laserologist has trained many healthcare professionals, including Dermatologists, Family physicians, and Laser Technicians on the guidelines for treating various skin conditions responsive to Energy Based Devices. The Laserologist has treated over a thousand patients, which led him to master his personalized combination of rejuvenating and anti-aging techniques to achieve remarkable patient-specific results.
Barb Humphreys rejoined the Remington Laser Dermatology Centre in 2004 and has been the head nurse and clinical director for over 15 years. She has been privileged to be mentored and trained by both Doctors Todd and Kent Remington. Her passion is treating vascular birthmarks, surgical, burn and traumatic scars as she knows how transformational it can be to a patient's life. As an expert with the Vascular Birthmark Foundation (VBF) she is honoured to be part of an international group developing a consensus document for the treatment of vascular birthmarks that should be published in early 2024. In addition to treating complex conditions, she has refined a predictable and reliable approach to treating all types of vascular lesions and conditions.
