Dr. Chimento is board certified in Dermatology and is highly trained in general medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Chimento completed numerous research studies with the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery and was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.
Dr. Firas Al-Niaimi is a highly experienced and respected consultant dermatologist with nearly 20 years of medical experience. Professor Firas Al-Niaimi has over 210 scientific publications in medical journals, 10 book chapters (and his own book) and over 400 scientific presentations in more than 55 countries around the globe. He has trained in some of the UK's top hospitals including the largest dermatology department in Europe (Manchester) and the world-renowned St. John's Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas’ hospital where he completed a prestigious laser and Mohs surgical fellowship there and continued to work as an honorary consultant for several years. In 2021 he was appointed professor in dermatology and becomes the first and only professor in laser dermatology in the UK.
Medical Director of the Candela Institute for Education | Dr. Schallen has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and aesthetic medicine for 10 years. In the past several years, she has combined her interests in aesthetic medicine, laser medicine and teaching through her work with the worldwide industry leaders in lasers and devices in over 40 countries, and has served as the company’s Global VP of Clinical Education. Her clinical aesthetic practice is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Lesley Clark-Loeser is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, board certified since 2005. She has authored and co-authored over 15 professional articles and book chapters and has served as an investigator in more than 25 clinical trials. Dr. Clark-Loeser is also a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. John Howard is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Dr. Howard completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic surgery where he performed over a thousand cases along with their advanced reconstruction. Under Dr. Eli Saleeby at the Skin Institute of South Florida, he simultaneously completed an ASDS Cosmetics fellowship under Drs. Eduardo Weiss, Martin Zaiac, and Shino Bay Aguilera in South Florida where he received advanced training in numerous cosmetic procedures including skin rejuvenation, cosmetic laser technology, energy-based devices, BOTOX®, fillers, platelet-rich-plasma, and sclerotherapy. Dr. Howard is in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida at First Coast Mohs.
Gina McLean is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Master’s in Medical Science Degree at Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program. With her experience as a PA in dermatology and aesthetics for 10 years, Gina can diagnose and treat a wide variety of skin conditions. Gina is also certified in many cosmetic procedures such as laser hair removal, sclerotherapy, Fraxel, IPL, EMatrix, CO2 laser resurfacing, Kybella, neurotoxins, as well as a variety of dermal fillers and peels.
Dr. Bertha Baum is a board-certified Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon. She practices at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Specialists in Hollywood, Florida. Her practice there, along with her Spanish language skills, draw a high percentage of Latino/Hispanic patients as well as interest from local Spanish media where she shares her expertise on the latest skin care technology advancements.
Jennifer Martinez is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree from Barry University in 2006. She has been practicing advanced dermatology for over a decade with several Dermatologists and Surgeons in the Miami and surrounding areas. Her specialties include skin rejuvenating treatments such as injectables, botox, fillers, Kybella, PDO threads, and laser treatments. Her passion lies within skin care, injectables and helping each patient find their individualized regimen to meet their beauty goals.
Stephanie Phillips, NP owns and operates Aesthetic Element Medical, alongside her husband Ryan, providing cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic treatments to clients in the South Florida area. The couple has worked in the industry for the past eight years, gaining an impressive level of experience while working closely with clients to help them achieve their specific goals. They decided to start their successful business five years ago because of their love for the industry and everything it entails. While the company began in a one-room office in the back of a spinning studio, the company quickly grew from solely word of mouth referrals. Aesthetic Element quickly grew to its new 3500 sq. ft. state of the art facility in Weston, FL.
30 years of counseling in vascular risk plus years of training in facial esthetics allow her to provide her clients with a unique approach to their health. As an acute care nurse practitioner, she has devoted to interventional cardiology and developing a risk reduction that focused on reducing risk factors for heart disease. She received awards from the American Heart Association for her work on women and heart disease and was also awarded the Mary Ann Scully Excellence in Nursing Award from the American Heart Association in 2011. With these recognitions, her passion continued to grow.
