Dr. Catherine Chang is a Harvard trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a sub-specialization in Cranio-Maxillofacial aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Her specialties include a combination of both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Chang is quadruple ivy-league educated from start to finish. Dr. Chang also served as a clinical instructor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, teaching plastic surgery techniques and principles to surgical residents and medical students.
Mariana Vergara is a medical doctor from Colombia with extensive clinical and surgical experience. Her passion for cosmetic dermatology made her pursue a second career in United States. She joined Florida International University BSN/MSN program for foreign educated physicians. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Nursing and a Master degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. At her early age she has treated celebrities and prestigious public figures in the entertainment world.
Dr. Rueckl is a native Nevadan and a board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Rueckl decided he wanted to re-enter private practice and moved to Las Vegas to open Lakes Dermatology. He subsequently added to that practice by starting The Spa at Lakes Dermatology in May 2005. He was recognized as a “Top Dermatologist” in Las Vegas by RealSelf.com from 2011-current. From 2016-current he was voted a “Top Doctor” by Vegas Inc.
Jenny Lamothe is a native Las Vegan who has lived here her entire life. After graduating from PIMA, she began her medical career working in general medicine but came to work as a dermatology medical assistant for Dr. Rueckl in 2013. Jenny is exceptionally well-trained and assists Dr. Rueckl and Ross with surgeries, procedures, prescriptions, biopsies, and general patient care. Jenny has also expanded her knowledge to become certified in several of the more ablative lasers upstairs at Lakes Dermatology and often works with Dr. Rueckl on training other physicians and offices with these devices.
Whitney Vea was born in Northern California and grew up in Northern Nevada. While working for a cosmetic dentist, Whitney decided she wanted to expand her healthcare knowledge and began taking classes to become an aesthetician. She obtained her licensure in 2007. She is certified for all spa services offered and has passed all requirements for performing these procedures. Whitney often works with laser companies at various shows to perform treatments and demos for other physicians. She continues to add to her certifications by attending advanced training courses in laser systems, skincare, and other spa procedures.
