An award-winning writer, she was the recipient of the 2017 Johnson & Johnson Award for Best Beauty Trade Journalist. She is the author of 12 books including America’s Cosmetic Doctors & Dentists (Castle Connolly Medical) and Plastic Makes Perfect (Orion), and Founder and Editor in Chief of Beautyinthebag.com since 2008. A prolific writer for consumer publications and trade journals, she currently serves on the Editorial Board of Prime International Anti-Ageing Journal, is a Beauty & Skincare Columnist for Healthnewsdigest.com, a Huffington Post blogger, and a columnist for Modern Aesthetics. She is also a contributor to Aesthetic Society News, Practical Dermatology, Medesthetics, Aesthetics Journal, Aesthetic Medical Practitioner, and many other publications and websites in the US and abroad. She has published more than 500 articles in consumer magazines, newspapers and professional journals on two continents, has contributed to three medical textbooks, and is frequently quoted in the media in the US and EU. Her newest book, Aesthetic Clinic Marketing in the Digital Age, will be published by CRC Press in December 2017.
Tara Delle Chiaie, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN
Ms. Delle Chiaie is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, and owner of Surface Medical Esthetics, PLLC. Extensively trained in aesthetic medicine and laser technology. Recently she developed an Academy for aesthetic medicine called DCCM Academy. Her courses have been awarded approval for accreditation by ACCME, AANP, and the ANCC. Currently, she is working on a universal reversal protocol for dermal fillers.
