Dr. Tom Rohrer is one of the nation's leading experts in both cosmetic and surgical dermatology. As a recognized innovator in the field, he lectures nationally and internationally, instructing other dermatologists and plastic surgeons on a wide variety of procedures and techniques. Dr. Rohrer was recently selected to give the keynote speech at the largest annual meeting of dermatologists in the world. Dr. Rohrer has published extensively in a wide variety of dermatologic and cosmetic surgery journals and is an editor of five textbooks on surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Rohrer has been elected to the board of directors of the prestigious American College of Mohs Surgery, the Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Firas Al-Niaimi is a highly experienced and respected consultant dermatologist with nearly 20 years of medical experience. Professor Firas Al-Niaimi has over 210 scientific publications in medical journals, 10 book chapters (and his own book) and over 400 scientific presentations in more than 55 countries around the globe. He has trained in some of the UK's top hospitals including the largest dermatology department in Europe (Manchester) and the world-renowned St. John's Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas’ hospital where he completed a prestigious laser and Mohs surgical fellowship there and continued to work as an honorary consultant for several years. In 2021 he was appointed professor in dermatology and becomes the first and only professor in laser dermatology in the UK.
Medical Director of the Candela Institute for Education | Dr. Schallen has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and aesthetic medicine for 10 years. In the past several years, she has combined her interests in aesthetic medicine, laser medicine and teaching through her work with the worldwide industry leaders in lasers and devices in over 40 countries, and has served as the company’s Global VP of Clinical Education. Her clinical aesthetic practice is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Douglas Wu is a double Board-Certified Dermatologist in both Canada and the USA with specialty training in Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Wu also holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Immunology from the University of Oxford. He has authored numerous medical articles and textbook chapters, and lectures at major conferences across the globe. Dr. Wu supervises between 20-30 ongoing clinical trials at any given time, placing him at the forefront of discovery and innovation in cosmetic dermatology. He currently practices in both San Diego, CA, and Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Scott Paviol is Board Certified Dermatologist, he obtained his medical doctorate from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He was one of 30 medical students selected for the nationally recognized Clinical Science Training Program at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he spent a year performing individualized research on Type 1 Diabetes. He also spent a month in Ecuador as part of a program bringing medical care to underserved areas. He began his career in Lake Norman and opened Paviol Dermatology in Charlotte in 2020. He is ICF Certified ontological coach, adjunct professor at Campbell University College of medicine, faculty member of NCMS Future Clinician Leaders Training program, current President of Mecklenburg County Medical Society, and was voted best dermatologist in Charlotte by both the BOB Awards and Charlotte's Best. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Men's Health, Huffington Post, Forbes Health, Self Magazine among others and is a frequent guest on podcasts.
Tara Delle Chiaie is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and owner of Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine. Tara is extensively trained in aesthetic medicine and laser technology. Recently she developed an Academy for Aesthetic Medicine called DCCM Academy. Her courses have been awarded approval for accreditation by ACCME, AANP, and the ANCC. Currently, she is working on a universal reversal protocol for dermal fillers.
