Konika Schallen, MD Dr. Konika Schallen is the Medical Director of Candela and its Candela Institute for Excellence, in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Additionally, she holds the position of Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Operations at Candela. Dr. Schallen is a visionary dedicated to advancing the field of energy-based treatments through science. Her commitment extends to contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies and innovative protocols aimed at promoting healthier skin and achieving a rejuvenated appearance for patients of diverse skin types. With extensive experience in academia, industry and private practice, Dr. Schallen is a highly sought after speaker in the field of aesthetic medicine. She has lectured and collaborated with physicians and aesthetic medicine professionals in nearly 50 countries. Lesley Clark-Loeser, MD Dr. Lesley Clark-Loeser completed her residency in Dermatology, as well as a two-year fellowship in dermatopharmacology at the New York University School of Medicine. In addition, she trained for one year at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as a pigmented lesion fellow. She has authored and co-authored over 15 professional articles and book chapters and has served as an investigator in more than 30 clinical trials. Dr. Clark-Loeser is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, board-certified since 2005. She maintains membership in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, the Women's Dermatologic Society, Broward Dermatologic Society, and is a member of the Davie Chamber of Commerce. |

Mona Sadeghpour, MD Dr. Mona Sadeghpour is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Co-Founder of SkinMed Institute in Lone Tree, Colorado. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas Collegium V Honors Program, and received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Following her residency at University of Pittsburgh, where she served as chief resident, Dr. Sadeghpour completed the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) accredited fellowship in laser and cosmetic surgery at the renowned SkinCare Physicians in Boston, Massachusetts. She previously served as the Director of the Center for Skin, Laser, and Cosmetic Surgery at University of Colorado where she led and created an innovative educational curriculum to train physicians-in-training in laser and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Sadeghpour’s clinical interests include melasma and disorders of hyperpigmentation, complications and safety in laser and cosmetic surgery techniques, and utilization of laser medicine as it relates to evidenced-based treatment of dermatologic health and disease. She continues to lecture and teach other physicians and residents nationally at academic institutions as well through multiple national societies, where she holds leadership positions. |
