Nicolle Dest, MSN, RN Nicolle Dest, MSN, RN is the Director of Global Clinical Research and Director of the Candela Institute for Excellence (CIE) at Candela Medical, based at the company’s global headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts. With over a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine, including experience as a nurse practitioner and regional preceptor supporting high-volume aesthetic practices, she brings a practice-informed perspective to clinical research, product development, and global education. CIE clinical activities are conducted under the medical direction of Konika Patel Schallen, MD. |

Raylene Piretti, LE Raylene Piretti is a Massachusetts Licensed Aesthetician with 1200 hours in advanced training with15+ years of experience in clinical aesthetics, advanced treatment workflows, clinical operations and clinical research. She has been a core member of the Candela Institute for Excellence (CIE) research clinic team at Candela’s global headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts for the past 7 years, supporting FDA-regulated clinical studies, internal evaluations, and clinical education initiatives in collaboration with physician oversight and cross-functional teams. Raylene is recognized for her expertise in protocol adherence, technique standardization, comprehensive clinical care, and consistent technique-driven outcomes across a broad range of aesthetic technology platforms. She has performed hundreds of Glacē™ treatments and contributed to internal program evaluation efforts supporting Glacē integration prior to Candela’s acquisition. |
