Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is the most common type of incontinence, with as many 30% of women affected by the symptoms of SUI. The impact of a women’s life on SUI can be significant. Current treatment options can include both surgical and nonsurgical therapies, including vaginal mesh, physical therapy, bulking agents, and etc. In recent years, the use of energy-based devices has been introduced as another nonsurgical treatment option. In this podcast, Dr. Desrosiers discusses SUI and the different treatment options available, including CO2 laser.
