Konika Schallen, MD
Medical Director of the Candela Institute for Education, Dr. Schallen has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and aesthetic medicine for 10 years. In the past several years, she has combined her interests in aesthetic medicine, laser medicine and teaching through her work with the worldwide industry leaders in lasers and devices in over 40 countries, and currently serves as the company’s Global VP of Clinical Operations and Medical Director. Her clinical aesthetic practice is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Branislav Lukic is a certified aesthetic medicine doctor and ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplasty. He serves on the Regulatory National Board for Aesthetic Medicine in Serbia and the executive board of SESIAM, the largest aesthetic medicine association. Dr. Lukic currently practices at Una Residence Clinic in Belgrade, Serbia. Passionate about energy-based devices (EBD), he focuses on combining lasers, injectables, and surgery to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Dr. Andrei Martin is a plastic surgeon and the owner and medical director of Clinica Medispa in Cluj Napoca, Romania. He received his training at the Plastic Surgery and Burns Center in Bucharest. Since 2009, Dr. Martin has performed a wide range of plastic and aesthetic surgeries, with a special focus on reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery. He also specializes in surgical and nonsurgical restorative procedures, scar treatments, minimally invasive and noninvasive anti-aging procedures, as well as laser and energy-based device (EBD) treatments.
