About the Speaker

Wendy Lewis is the Founder & President of Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd Global Aesthetics Consultancy since 1997, a boutique communications agency in New York City.


An award-winning writer, she was the recipient of the 2017 Johnson & Johnson Award for Best Beauty Trade Journalist.
She is the author of 13 consumer beauty and health books including, two editions of America’s Cosmetic Doctors & Dentists (Castle Connolly Medical) and Founder and Editor in Chief of Beautyinthebag.com since 2008.


A prolific writer for consumer publications and trade journals, she is on the Editorial Board of Prime International Anti-Ageing Journal and a regular contributor to Aesthetic Society News, Practical Dermatology, Modern Aesthetics, and many other publications and websites.


She has published over 500 articles in consumer magazines, newspapers and professional journals, contributed to three medical textbooks, is a frequent presenter and course instructor at numerous international medical aesthetics congresses, and a guest speaker for many top aesthetic brands.


Her first textbook is Aesthetic Clinic Marketing in the Digital Age, CRC Press (2018) will have a second edition in 2021, and her next textbook, Rebuilding an Aesthetic Surgery Practice; a Roadmap for Future Success, will be published by Thieme in 2022.
