About the Speaker

Prof. Firas Al-Niaimi is an award winning dermatologist with over 210 scientific publications in medical journals, 10 book chapters (and his own book) and over 400 scientific presentations in more than 55 countries around the globe. He is one of the UK's most prolific and well-published dermatologists and one with a renowned international standing. Prof. Al-Niaimi is a highly experienced and respected consultant dermatologist and one with a renowned international standing. He is a highly experienced and respected consultant dermatologist with nearly 20 years of medical experience and trained in some of the UK's top hospitals including the largest dermatology department in Europe (Manchester) and the world-renowned St. John's Institute of Dermatology at St. Thomas’ hospital where he completed a prestigious laser and Mohs surgical fellowship there and continued to work as an honorary consultant for several years.
Currently, in addition to his private practice, Prof. Al-Niaimi is involved in academic research and international teaching and training of doctors and was awarded the Global Excellence Award for the title Consultant Dermatologist of the year 2019 in London given his services and commitment to dermatology. In 2021 he was appointed professor in dermatology and becomes the first and only professor in laser dermatology in the UK.
Professor Firas Al-Niaimi was the first in Europe to have the Vbeam Prima system, as well as the Frax 1940 and the Picoway Resolve Fusion handpiece.

Pedro Santos, MD, MsC holds a Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences - Oporto University and completed a Master’s Program in Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid. Dr. Santos is co-founder of the first post-graduate programme on Aesthetic Medicine in Portugal, and he is a university teacher and international clinical trainer on lasers, EBDs and injectables. His expertise is in practice differentiation on Laser and Energy Based Devices.

Lesia Kirsanova is a Doctor Cosmetologist, Dermatovenerologist, Trichologist, and Head of the Laser Department at the St. Petersburg Institute of Beauty Galaxy. She is a Researcher and Teacher at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology and the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Educational Course in Cosmetic Dermatology at the First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg. Dr. Kirsanova studied medicine at the First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg and undertook graduate training in dermatology (residency) at its Dermatology and Venereal Diseases Department. Dr. Kirsanova is an active speaker at scientific conferences, congresses, and seminars devoted to laser treatments, acne, skin ageing, rosacea, and general health. She also conducts clinical trainings and workshops for doctors dermatologists and cosmetologists on a regular basis.
