About the Speakers
Firas Al-Niaimi, MD is a highly experienced consultant dermatologist, cosmetic and laser expert with over 15 years’ experience and an international standing. He trained in some of the UK’s top hospitals. He currently holds an honorary consultant position at the world-renowned St. John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, where he completed an advanced fellowship in dermatologic surgery and lasers for a full year, followed by additional advanced training in various centres in the USA.
Dr. Al-Niaimi has a passion for education, research and science, and has over 150 publications about dermatology and lasers, making him one of the most prolific and well-published consultant dermatologists in the UK. He has delivered more than 200 scientific presentations around the world, in addition to having authored his own book and contributed to several others.
Hugues Cartier, MD is a doctor in dermatology and venereology. He graduate at the European School of Phlebology. Practitioner at the Saint Jean Medical Centre and the Arras Hospital Centre in France. Secretary of Reflection in Dermatological Surgery Group and former president of the French Society of Surgical and Aesthetic Dermatology. Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology EADV, French Society of Dermatology, French Society of Phlebology, French Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology and member of the executive board at the SFD Laser Group. Dr. Cartier is a scientific coordinator at IMCAS and at the French and Belgian Society of Aesthetic and Laser Medicine. Dr. Hugues Cartier is regularly presenting at national and international congresses (IMCAS, EMAA, ESLD, etc) in the aesthetic, laser and dermatological field. His specialties are: laser, intense pulse light, dynamic phototherapy, peeling ( glycolic, TCA and phenol), blepharoplasty, hairs graft, phlebology.
