About the Speaker

Konika Schallen, MD, SVP of Clinical Operations and Medical Director at Candela, has over 20 years of medical experience, including 10 years in aesthetic medicine. She has integrated her passions for aesthetic and laser medicine with teaching, working with industry leaders in lasers and devices across more than 40 countries. Dr. Schallen’s private clinical aesthetic practice is based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Her professional history includes working in clinical research pertaining to lasers and energy based devices, outpatient aesthetic surgery, clinical management and primary care. Having extensive experience performing clinical trials with energy based devices and learning from aesthetic industry leaders, Meghan is able to utilize her unique professional experience to deliver effective clinical treatments and peer education.
