About the Speakers
Dra Virginia Benitez
Dr. Virginia Benitez Roig holds a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery and after completing her medical training, specialised in general surgery. She has a Masters in Medicine and Aesthetic Surgery, a Masters in Medical Laser Surgery from the University of Rovira and Virgili in Tarragona and a Masters in Anti-Ageing Medicine from the University of Barcelona. She holds a Diploma of advanced studies in the Doctorate program for the Investigation into Experimental Sciences as applied to Biomedicine and has over 25 years’ experience using laser technologies from general surgery (using Argon Laser) to aesthetic medicine and surgery. Dr Benitez is the director of the Laser Department at Helicopteros Sanitarios Hospital, Marbella and is General Secretary of the Spanish Laser Society and Scientific Board Member of the International Academy of Cosmetic Gynaecology and is also a member of the European Laser Society. She is a Professor in Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery as well as in Aesthetic and Functional Gynaecology and Cosmetic Genital Surgery for women in the Master courses at the University of Barcelona. She is also an international speaker and undertakes doctors’ training for different applications of EBD (Energy Based Devices).
