Welcome to our Live Only webinar Advance Case Discussion Forum: COE Series with our expert panel Dr. Wichai Hongcharu, Dr. Maria Pilar Leuenberger & Dr. Shuxian Yan. 

This NEW COE webinar series is an online platform for experts to share and discuss their clinical experiences and learnings, from understanding patients’ needs, accurate diagnosis, and designing treatment plans via the application of the Vbeam® system.

We are honored to have invited Candela Center of Excellence physician, Dr. Wichai Hongcharu, to be the chairman of this forum.​

The forum will focus on benign vascular lesions using the Vbeam devices to achieve successful results. ​

Dr. Wichai Hongcharu
Dr. Wichai Hongcharu is the director of Dr. Wichai Clinic. Previously he has been appointed as a chief of Dermatology Unit of Saint Louis Hospital, Bangkok. He received both certificates of Clinical Fellowship in Dermatology and Research Fellowship in Laser and Photo Medicine respectively from Harvard and the Department of Energy in USA. Also, he was awarded diplomas in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology from University of London. Now he is an associate member of American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Maria Pilar Leuenberger
Dr. Maria Pilar Leuenberger is the immediate past chair of the Department of Dermatology of the St. Luke's Medical Center Bonifacio Global City (Philippines) where she currently heads the Laser Unit of the Dermatology Center. Dr. Leuenberger is a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society. Dr. Leuenberger has current local experience in the dermatologic applications of the pulsed dye, alexandrite, Nd:YAG, erbium yag and carbon dioxide lasers, along with radiofrequency and ultrasound technology.

Dr. Shuxian Yan

Dr. Shuxian Yan is a medical dermatologist at Huashan Hospital in Fudan University. She is a member of Chinese Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Doctor, Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics and Chinese Dermatology Association.​

Dr. Yan studied medical cosmetology, laser therapy, cosmeceutical and photodermatology. She has published more than 30 medical literature. She’s also responsible for the fundings of National Nature Science of Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and ShengKang Hospital Development Center.​

She is knowledgeable in various aesthetic procedure such as chemical peeling, fractional laser and picosecond laser in treating sensitive skin, rosacea and acne scar. ​
