Dr. Amy O’Brien graduated with a medical degree from the University of Tasmania in 2000. Following her internship she gained extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and dedicated a year to teaching at a medical school in the Caribbean as a volunteer.
Over the past decade, Dr. O'Brien has honed her focus on Skin, Skin Cancer, and Aesthetic Medicine, working at prominent practices in Hobart. In 2024, she founded her own clinic, O’Skin Medical, offering both surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers and pre-cancerous conditions, as well as treatments for benign skin issues. She is highly skilled in laser therapy for both medical and cosmetic purposes and also provides tailored aesthetic treatments.
Dr. O'Brien is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and holds a Diploma of Dermoscopy and a Certificate of Dermatology.
