Associate Professor Philip Bekhor

Associate Professor Philip Bekhor graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1973 and in 1978 qualified as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology.
He is the foundation director of the Laser Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital established in 1989. This unit treats vascular and pigmentary birthmarks using the Candela Vbeam and Q-switched YAG lasers. A/Prof Bekhor is the Convenor of the Specialist Advisory Committee of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He is also a Mohs skin cancer surgeon at the Skin & Cancer Foundation of Victoria.
